Greetings and Welcome Back

Dear SSU Students:

It is our pleasure to inform you that we have two major announcements to start off the New Year 2015:

1) Certificate in Marketing and Certificate in Business Administration

SSU now offers a one-year Certificate in Marketing and a one-year Certificate in Business Administration. Detail information is included in our latest 2014-2015 Catalog and on our website.

2) New Faculty Members

Let’s welcome our four new faculty members to the BBA and MBA programs beginning in the winter quarter:

Matthew Alcala, M.A.

Matthew has a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MA degree in Psychological Research from the California State University – Long Beach. Currently, he works in higher education teaching courses in psychology and has worked in the past in research and program management with educational institutes and governmental agencies. Matthew will specialize in the math and statistics courses at the Newport Beach Campus.

David Gonzales, M.S.

David has a BS degree in Mathematics with a focus on Probability and Statistics from the University of California at San Diego and an MS degree in Applied Mathematics from the California State University – Long Beach. His career has been in conducting statistical analysis of housing and energy data. David will specialize in the math and statistics courses at the San Diego Campus.

Craig Ostrander, M.B.A.

Craig has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Marketing major from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from the California State University – San Marcos. Throughout his career, he has worked with major companies in product development, specializing in software products. Craig will specialize in the marketing courses at the San Diego Campus.

Tiffany Vukasinovich, M.S.

Tiffany has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MS degree in Engineering Management from the University of California at Los Angeles. She has worked in quality assurance and operations management at large manufacturing companies in the USA. Tiffany will specialize in the math, statistics, and operations management courses at the San Diego Campus.
